Product holding tank---pump---SIIC filtration(Final filter)---product filling line
The process of filtration, SIIC 1 micron PP filter bags, SIIC 1 micron polypropylene filter bags are recommended. The purpose is removal of fine contaminants.
The photo process solution is blended and stored in a large holding tank prior to final packaging. The solution is highly evaporative. As a result, as the solution evaporates, a thin film layer is left on the wall of the tank. When the film dries, it will come off the wall in the form of small flakes. These flakes need to be removed from the processing solution prior to final packaging.
The solution is piped from the holding tank to three pumps that are set up in parallel. Each pump is followed by an inline polypropylene filter vessel. Polypropylene is used due to the highly corrosive nature of the chemical.
A SIIC 1 micro PP filter bag is used to remove the flakes prior to filling one gallon plastic containers.
